MORE PARTNERSHIP

Simon began his fundraising career at University of Oxford, and then worked at the London School of Economics. He then spent eight years at UCL, including four years as Director of Development, where he oversaw alumni relations, events, communications and media relations in addition to fundraising. UCL raised more than £55 million during Simon’s eight years there – the first time the University had ever had a professional development operation. As a consultant, Simon has worked for more than 15 years for More Partnership supporting the great ambitions of a diverse range of clients. He has helped many major Universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, King’s College London, Nottingham, Leeds, University of Western Australia and UCL, and charities such as Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Research UK and the NSPCC. He has supported major Campaigns at all of these institutions, which add up to a combined total of more than £5bn. He has been a speaker at the Institute of Fundraising National Convention and is a holder of the prestigious CASE Crystal Apple award for excellence in presenting at fundraising conferences in higher education. He has been an invited Faculty member at four CASE African conferences over the past 12 years.
